Weimarstraat & Beeklaan – Development of creative infrastructure for and with residents

The area around Weimarstraat and Beeklaan in The Hague is a challenging location. While many people feel deeply connected to the area, not everything comes naturally: residents, municipal employees, and entrepreneurs have expressed difficulty in finding a shared approach to bring innovation to the neighborhood in recent years.

Various visions and ideas have been developed independently, but due to fragmentation, not enough progress has been made.

Together with Balans Communicatie, Being A Designer developed a series of different types of creative meetings to bring all parties together to brainstorm, share, and realize new ideas. We also initiated a series of vision sessions, where all stakeholders collectively create a (drawn) vision.
