Prototyping life skills lessons

About this project

In co-creation with teachers and students from special education (cluster 4), we worked on the further development of the Life Skills program. A key objective is to incorporate more creative skills and interactive teaching methods to better meet the needs of the target group.

Students and teachers are actively involved through workshops where they experience and prototype the program. This process leads to a set of principles and guidelines that serve as the foundation for further development. Hogeschool Leiden, under the guidance of Being A Designer, is refining these principles into an updated and enriched program.

Goal

Enriching the life skills program with creative skills and interactive teaching methods in a way that remains workable for both teachers and students.

Results

  • Principles and guidelines formulated based on co-creation with students and teachers.
  • Start with new and interactive teaching methods for the Life Skills program.
