WeTime – From concept to realization

WeTime Rotterdam is the further development of a previous Walstroom lab, an innovation lab by the municipality of Rotterdam, with the goal of realizing WeTime: a service that annually supports 500 parents and children in their connection.

On behalf of the Van Veldhuizen Foundation, Being A Designer took on the role of creative project leader during this realization phase. This included concept development, materialization, and project management. From reaching out to parents to finding a suitable studio and the right fabric to produce 500 rugs affordably, the entire process was concretely worked out and executed.

Collaboration played a crucial role in this project. We brought together various parties and facilitated the collaboration, focusing on finding and involving socially relevant partners dedicated to supporting parents and children.

The realization of the WeTime service for 500 parents, including the development of supporting services and materials, and strengthening collaboration between various social partners.
